Who operates ASTA
ASTA is operated by Commpair (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2023/208601/07, at 3 Gwarrie Street, Oudtshoorn 6625, South Africa. ASTA provides fitness tracking, Competitions, Pools and recreational Social games. Support and privacy contact: help@astafitness.com. Your account and choices
The private beta is invitation-only for people aged 18 or older who live in South Africa. New accounts require a valid single-use invitation and your age and residency self-declarations; these are not independent identity, age or location verification. Provide accurate account details, keep your sign-in credentials secure and use only your own account and activity records. Do not impersonate another person or transfer an account to evade restrictions.
The signup acknowledgement covers the disclosed free test-credit beta scope. It does not record acceptance of these policies. Health sharing, location, photos and notifications are separate choices. Read the relevant disclosure before granting access. Declining a permission can prevent the feature that needs it from working; it does not grant permission to use other information.
Which rules apply
This beta uses free test credits with no cash value. Credits cannot be purchased, withdrawn, redeemed or exchanged for cash prizes. Cash deposits, real-money prizes and withdrawals are unavailable. A rand symbol, ZAR label, wallet entry, prize or refund shown during this beta describes test-credit accounting and does not make the amount real money.
Read the separate rules and event listing before joining. A Competition ranks eligible recorded activity for its fixed advertised test-credit award schedule. A Pool requires every daily target and shares participant test-credit contributions under its own rules. Social games use recorded recreational scores and do not offer cash prizes.
The listing identifies the format, entry amount, metric, targets, participants, dates, time zone and award arrangements. This beta does not create a paid service or convert any genuine historical payment or obligation into test credits. Any future paid release requires a separate decision, approved rules and applicable authorisations.
Acceptable use and your content
Follow the Community Guidelines and Fair Play Policy. Do not upload unlawful material, infringe others’ rights, harass participants, tamper with evidence, exploit payments or disrupt the service.
You retain rights in your own content. By choosing to upload it, you permit ASTA to store and display it to the audience allowed by that feature and to process it to operate and moderate the service. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorise unrelated advertising use of health data. Only share content and images you have permission to use.
Availability and safe participation
Internet access, device compatibility, source permissions and provider availability affect syncing. A recording on your device is not proof that ASTA received it. Check sync status and the event deadline.
ASTA provides general fitness and recreational features, not medical care or emergency monitoring. Stop activity when it is unsafe. A deadline, fee or prize is never a reason to ignore pain, illness or professional advice.
Complaints and changes
Use Help and privacy requests in Settings or contact help@astafitness.com for account, result, test-credit or privacy concerns. Include the relevant reference. Test Credits, Entries and Returns and Account Deletion and Data Rights explain the available controls and their limits.
Material terms and rule changes need a new version and clear notice. Publication is not a record of your acceptance. Event rules should be available before entry; these policies do not change an existing entry or settlement.
Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer, privacy or other legal rights. Any restriction, dispute procedure or return rule remains subject to applicable law.
Apple and the app licence
ASTA’s services and content are the responsibility of Commpair. Apple is not a sponsor of ASTA Competitions or Pools and is not involved in them in any manner.
For an App Store distribution using Apple’s standard licence, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app licence. These service terms describe ASTA’s services. No custom Apple EULA is adopted by these policies.
