Test Credits, Entries and Returns

Free test credits, event entries, returned credits and balance concerns.

Published · Version 0.6 · Effective 23 October 2026 · Commpair (Pty) Ltd

Availability and currency

This private South African beta uses free test credits only. They have no cash value and cannot be purchased, withdrawn, redeemed or exchanged for cash prizes. Cash deposits and withdrawals are unavailable.

Existing wallet records can display rand amounts, ZAR currency, entries, prizes or refunds. During test-balance mode these are accounting labels for noncash credits, not bank funds. This policy does not convert any genuine historical payment or obligation into test credits. Any future paid release is a separate decision requiring appropriate rules and authorisations.

Before confirming an entry

No payment is needed to obtain or use the beta’s free test credits. Before confirming an event entry, review its credit amount, metric, targets, start, end, required entrants and return conditions. A fixed-award Competition and a Pool sharing participant credits are different formats.

Do not provide bank or card details for beta test credits or send ASTA passwords or one-time banking codes. Report any request to pay for beta credits to help@astafitness.com.

Wallet balances and returned credits

The beta wallet records test-credit grants, entry holds, returned entries and awards. Available credits, reserved entries and credits under review are different states. A displayed balance or ledger entry is not redeemable money.

An entry return restores test credits to the ASTA wallet. An award also remains test credits. Neither triggers a bank transfer. If a genuine historical payment concern exists, report it separately so it is not mistaken for a test-credit transaction.

Event refunds

A Competition allows a full test-credit entry return while it is filling, before it locks. A Pool permits leaving before it starts. Once a Pool starts, ordinary failure to meet a daily target does not return the entry; if nobody qualifies, all entry contributions are returned under the Pool rules.

These ordinary rules do not remove rights relating to a genuine incorrect charge, service failure, unfair result or applicable law. A beta policy update does not create a new cash fee or forfeiture. Report an error or cancellation concern with the event reference.

Payment problems and disputes

Report an incorrect test-credit balance, missing entry, duplicated entry or contested result with its reference, date, amount and a brief explanation. Use the event’s financial-dispute control or the Payment category in Help and privacy requests, even where the concern involves only test credits.

If a genuine historical charge or transfer exists, identify it as such and provide only the necessary payment reference. Do not include full card details. Reconciliation is needed to avoid resolving the same transaction twice; a delayed notification does not prove that a transaction failed.

These policies promise no bank-transfer, credit correction or refund completion time. The owner must approve the investigation process and applicable response commitments before they are represented as operational guarantees.

Review holds and deletion

A verification concern may place an affected test-credit award under review. A flag alone does not prove cheating. Review should identify the credit and reason affected, allow a response and communicate the outcome. The Fair Play and Result Disputes page explains the proposed review process.

Positive test credits alone do not delay account deletion and are erased when deletion completes. You do not need to spend them or give bank details. Unsettled entries, pending credits, open financial concerns and any separately applicable retention hold can still require review.

A deletion request must not itself forfeit a genuine valid refund or undisputed amount owed if a historical cash obligation exists. Read Account Deletion and Data Rights for the distinction and available controls.
